One of India’s largest trade financing network, Vayana is dedicated to empowering supply chains with accessible and affordable trade credit. By identifying and bridging financial gaps, the company accelerates growth for businesses of all sizes, ensuring every member in the supply chain can thrive in a connected, efficient ecosystem. With Vayana’s Loan Origination System (V-LOS), they help banks, NBFCs, and financial institutions to streamline and fast-track their loan origination and credit approval processes.
Driven by design thinking and powerful brainstorming sessions, we redefined the V-LOS platform’s user interface and overall experience.
Challenge
The V-LOS platform required a complete UI revamp, with a fresh user interface accompanied by elements and layouts designed in alignment with the established brand identity. The challenge was to balance a visually appealing interaction for the users while ensuring a seamless navigational journey throughout the platform.

Understanding the users
Anchors
These users act as business enablers who support their resellers by facilitating the credibility needed for loan applications. They foster a mutually beneficial and collaborative business environment.
Channel partners
This category of users include vendors, employees, and partners affiliated with a specific business. These users will apply for the loan using the V-LOS platform and gain the working capital seamlessly.
Financial institutions
These users are the providers of loans and working capital, ensuring the facilitation of financial resources. They maintain the proper channeling of lending activities, while overseeing the strategic and responsible distribution of funds.
Identifying gaps with UX audit
We went back to skim through the many layers of the existing experience. In the process, we uncovered the hidden pain points and missed opportunities that could be improved in the new experience. By recognizing the gaps and areas of improvement, the experience to be designed now looked more clear. Such a comprehensive UX audit set the stage for a transformative experience, one that truly resonates with the users.

Vayana’s revamp called for a dynamic and intuitive user interface that embraces its vibrant brand colors as well as its engaging approach. Vayana redefines financial management with optimal financial transactions and budgeting, and our focus was to realize this into design as well. We achieved that by simplifying complex financial tasks into a seamless journey of discovery and efficiency, and offering an accessible and enjoyable experience for all users.
