Designed a website from scratch with a smooth user experience that increases sales and boosts conversions.
Uppercase is a design-first brand that creates fashion-forward travel gears such as backpacks, messenger bags, duffle bags, gym bags, travel bags, and more. It is an environmentally sensitive brand of products for the youth and a taste for things that don’t just look or feel good, but also do good.
Fueled by design thinking, we aimed to establish Uppercase’s digital presence with a solid website that looks and feels equally good.
Challenge
One of the key challenges was to create responsive, interactive, and a user-friendly platform that connects with users. The vision was to communicate the brand’s sustainability initiatives, boost sales and conversion rates by adhering to ethical principles, and effectively put forward the brand’s best digital footprint.

Uppercase and Lemon Yellow’s collaboration brought about an innovative and user-centric e-commerce experience for eco-friendly travel gears. Our approach was to build on the brand’s established foundation, and go beyond traditional e-commerce websites for eco-friendly products. Thus, our role was to ideate, discuss, get stakeholder insights, build a design approach, and create a mobile-first, image-driven visual layout. We balanced visual aesthetics with a user flow that was easy to navigate and adapt to. All in all, we ensured curating a frictionless user journey; backed by research, led by design.
